On behalf of the Scottish Ladies’ Golfing Association it is my pleasure to extend a very warm welcome to players, officials and supporters to the 2008 European Girls’ Team Championship. Murcar Links is one of the best seaside courses in the north of I hope the players will feel at home at Murcar Links, will take away many happy memories of I take this opportunity to thank all those people who have contributed to the organisation of this event. It is a great honour for me to welcome the competitors, officials and supporters to the European Girls’ Team Championship 2008. On behalf of The European Golf Association, I would like to express my sincere thanks to the Scottish Ladies’ Golfing Association for agreeing to host this event and to the members of the Murcar Links Golf Club for allowing us the exclusive use of their fine golf course. This event is an important one.
